Ewen watson

Ewen is a musician and tutor based in Forres. He enjoys teaching basic guitar skills to learners of all ages and has an inclusive and accessible teaching style. He has taught guitar for over a decade and has experience working in both 1:1 and group environments. As well as a guitar tutor, Ewen has run his own music specialist business since graduating with an MSc in Music in the Community from the University of Edinburgh in 2010. In this role, Ewen delivers music sessions for pupils with additional support needs in schools. He was awarded with The Moray Learning Disability Community Award in 2011 and was runner up in Grampian Princes’ Trust Scotland’s Young Entrepreneur Award in 2021.

 

Ewen is an accomplished songwriter and, as a member of power-pop band Be Like Pablo, has performed live on BBC TV and Radio and played at all of Scotland’s major music festivals. Ewen is delighted to be part of the Moray Music Lessons team and looks forward to working with a range of new pupils.
